Cheryl Cole and Kylie Minogue have both visited Lucinda Fabulous Salon to get hair extensions.
She also deals a lot with people who have suffered from hair loss resulting from medical conditions, including the Trichotillomania disorder (TTM) and Alopecia.
Lucinda Ellery experienced first hand having hair loss from an early age. In 1984 she started to do research and see what options where out there to help other women in similar situations.
I read her interview in the women and home magazine and decided to do some research on her. She really inspired me. I do pre bonded hair extensions myself and every time I finish a set I get a happy feeling when my clients looking at them in the mirror and there all smiley saying "I love them I love them." I cant even imagine how her clients must feel when they have that first look into the mirror.....she truly is the hair fairy!!
Her studios are located in London and Manchester, and now after Lucinda campaigned for eight years to be able to get funding via the NHS...this is possible. Women are able to apply for NHS PCT funding in order to see the fabulous Lucinda. Clients that are paying Privately it ranges from £1000-£3000.
This women is an inspiration and I know she should be incredibly proud of what she's doing...she's giving a WHOLE new LIFE to some people...Its over whelming how she must care so much whilst doing her job especially knowing how it effects people first hand.
